Chris Coco is a DJ, producer, broadcaster, critic, music junkie. He presented the Sunday edition of BBC Radio 1's after hours show The BlueRoom from 2002-2006 and DJs everything from house and party bootlegs to indie rock 'n' roll and dub all over the world.

Raised in Sussex, Chris was a prime mover in the acid house boom of the late Eighties. His Frenzy and Coco Club nights turned Brighton's Zap Club into the South Coast's party epicenter. His DJing inspired him to make the enduring party classic ‘Feel It’ by Coco Steel & Lovebomb. But Chris' more complex, downbeat side was already starting to emerge on the group’s debut album 'It', released on Warp Records in 1994. Drawn to increasingly chilled sounds, Chris reconnected with a passion for moody electronica,dub reggae and film soundtracks first nurtured as a youthful fan of NewOrder, Kraftwerk and The Velvet Underground.

Johnny ‘Chingas’ Hiller, Lasermagnetic frontman, helped kick start and initiate the recent disco revival. Many of the scene's DJ's played their first gig in the UK at LM: Lindstrom, Beppe Loda & Typhoon, Dr. Nishimura from Discosessions Japan, Citizen Kane, Woolfy, I-f, Chromatics, Brennan Green, Loud-e, Strangefruit, Kamome Soundsystem, and many more. Over the years Lasermagnetic parties were held in cities like Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Shanghai, Tokyo, Yokohama, Bejing, Melbourne, Sydney, Turku and Izmir. Johnny, since making his first disco mix tape in 84, has DJ-ed at credible international clubs like Tape Club, Cookies, Fabric, Plastic People, Nouveau Casino, Air, Yellow, Revolver, Club 97 & Café Otto over the years.

Johnny currently hosts a fortnightly radio show, The Tropical Spacemachine on Deepfrequency, which feature interviews and mixes with international guests like Lovefingers, Tako, Albion, Rahaan, Inflagranti, Glimmers, Hey Convict!, Lee Douglas and more. Most recently, Johnny Chingas has been working with Pete Herbert on music for the label Spacemachine Recordings, and their party outlet SPACEMACHINE, which has seen guests such as the Idjut Boys, Glimmers, Phoreski, Mo Morris (A Mountain Of One) and Toby Tobias all join their monthly party.

Alex has been Dj'ing professionally for the last fourteen years. Beginning in the late80's he worked his way through the free party/warehouse scene and began warming up for other well known DJ's such as Roy the Roach and Breeze R.I.P.

Alex's tastes encompass a wide range of music. He can play contemporary soulful dance, deep, or a mixed selection of up-tempo grooves Inc Disco, boogie, jazz, and always some forgotten classics. In his own words, "The emphasis is on the quality of the record be it instrumental, vocal, experimental. Everything has its place and time through the duration of a night, and if you have a good sound system and an open minded crowd and more than a couple of hours then it can all make sense!

Kyri has been running R2 Records for ten years and in that time released music from some of the greatest names in dance, including Louie Vega, (Masters At Work), Osunlade, (Yoruba Records), Karizma,, (Kohesive/Baltimore) & Ron Trent to name a few. Like his label, Kyri’s djing style draws on twenty years experience and reflects a wide spectrum of soulful music from Classic Disco through to Deep Tech via Afro-Latin House, with the emphasis always on keeping the dance floor moving.
