The Walls Have Ears
(1st Saturday)
|
The walls have ears resident DJ is better known as Jamie Paton some may say the more distinguished half of record producers Cage & Aviary – whilst Jamie has often been seen with us displaying his talents his partnership with Nigel has allowed his rebellious side to shine through, this dynamic duo seem to have no bounderies with their music, where as many would never be found to leave the comfort zone of their beloved decks these boys are often found mixing up their tracks with some live elements that include vocals as well as instruments, if you fancy a bit of that cinematic experience then look no further you’ve found it!!
Here’s a little something of Jamie’s past, but you should definitely come visit his future….

Lasermagnetic
(2nd Saturday)

|
Partner’s in crime Neil Thornton and Johnny Hiller have been pushing the broad spectrum disco music in the capital for quite a while now and are seen as the driving forces behind the scene. They embrace anything from cosmic, deep disco, funky rock, balearic to a more electro, Italo and deep house inspired sounds. When not rocking a disco in the city they reguarly play in some of Europes cool clubs inc Nouveau Casino Paris and Tape Club Berlin, Croatia alongside the residencies they hold in Japan. Most contemporaries of the scene have played at their parties and their spirit as a duo has been compared to what the Glimmers or Rub and Tug have achieve. 2007 Saw the boys bring some great guest to join the fun including Daniel Wang, Losoul, Prins Thomas, Melon, Steffi (Klakson), Jay Shepheard, Mark Seven, Dennis Kane (N.Y), Thomas (Rub n Tug), Studio, A Mountain of One, Beppe Loda, Quiet Village, Pete Herbert, Tim Paris, Padded Cell, Friendly Fires, Idjut Boys, Mongolian Jetset, Faze Action and many more. Neil & Johnny have also very busy bringing their disco to Londons more disconcerning dancefloors from parties including Faith/ Secretsundaze, Late Night Audio, Milky Disco, 2 Ft Deep to playing @ the Vogue Magazines 90th Birthday afterparty. Its been a non stop rollercoaster ride for the boys and 2008 looks just as fun with gigs in Japan, France, Crotia, Germany, Ireland lined up and the launch of their long awaited and anitcapated LM label. |

Mind Fluid
(Last Saturday of the month)
|
DJ, compiler, producer, label boss and radio presenter Kev Beadle’s bio reads like a journey through the halcyon years of the jazz, jazz funk and soul scene in the UK from the early 80s to the early 90’s, right through to the recent revival and rebirth through modern manifestations of nu-jazz, broken beat and deep house.
Mind Fluid started as a weekly Saturday at Sosho in September 2000, set up and promoted by Kev and Sherren (ex GM). It was Sosho's original club night and helped bring attention to the venue to give it 'Time Out Bar Of The Year 2001'.
Over the last three and a half years Kev has been joined by many big name guest djs including Gilles Peterson, Bugz In The Attic, Phil Asher, Ross Allen, Benji B, Cosmo, Freeform Five, Sinden & Jesse Rose, Yam-Who, Blackbeard, Strut Records djs, Pete Herbert, Stuart Patterson, Bob Jones and the list goes on.
